King Middle School

King Middle School, serving 4th through 6th grades, offers a wide range of educational opportunities, including the Engineering & Design Magnet, Math Inc. Magnet, and Dual Language Magnet programs, as well as general education. The Math Inc. Magnet enhances the district’s regular curriculum with a focus on numeration, problem-solving, ratios and fractions, measurement, time and money, and geometry, all supported by advanced technology integration. The Engineering Magnet provides hands-on, project-based learning to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. King also offers gifted education through self-contained classrooms and cluster groups, providing accelerated, multi-disciplinary instruction with higher-order thinking activities integrated across all subjects. Students benefit from differentiated instruction, enrichment projects, and opportunities to explore language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics at an advanced level, preparing them for continued academic success.
